Sudan has issued a new tender to sell 1.8 million barrels of heavy sweet Nile Blend crude for December loading, traders told Reuters.
The tender closes on Wednesday, with validity until Sunday, the trader added.
The Greater Nile project which produces this heavy sweet, high-quality, Nile Blend crude has been experiencing diminishing productivity lately from 325,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 200,000.
Last month, Sudapet sold two 600,000 barrel cargoes of the high quality grade at a slightly wider discount than the previous month of $1.48 and $1.59 a barrel to the Minas Indonesia Crude Price (ICP).
